Deeper than our CornerStone® 100 unit, the hollow core CornerStone® 200 is recommended for installations where heavy loads are in close proximity to the wall or where extra wall stability is required. CornerStone® 200 units can be used for gravity walls up to six feet (1.8 meters) tall (note: a qualified geotechnical engineer should be consulted for walls over 4 feet tall). Their deeper size makes them perfect for the first (base) course in a CornerStone® 100 wall to provide increased stability. Applications range from low, lightly loaded gravity designed residential retaining walls to high (30 ft. or more), commercial and industrial geogrid reinforced structures.
Like CornerStone® 100 the, CornerStone® 200 unit has been used to create a wide range of attractive, structurally sound and environmentally friendly wall projects.
The system uses three components (unit, cap and corner) ranging from 65 to 110 pounds that interconnect using our patented, mortarless, SecureLug™ interlock system (no expensive, time consuming pins or clips). No special equipment is required for installation. These lightweight, hollow core units are much easier to handle than comparable solid units.
The units typically have a face that resembles weathered rock. Unit shape and size are balanced to provide a natural profile that complements virtually any design or style of construction. Colors and available faces will depend on your market area.
